Stage 1: Basic trainer

Work out for 8 hours (for 50 Satisfaction Points(SP))
Work out in a gym (for 50 Satisfaction Points(SP)).

All you need to do to complete this stage is go to the gym venue (using your phone to travel) and start working out on a machine of your choice, and then continue working out, either there or at home, for eight hours.

It helps if you enter the gym energized and with high needs, as you should be able to workout solidly at the gym for the eight hours in one go if you want to. If you talk to one of the gym trainers once you have started working out and ask them to mentor you, you will get an additional boost (as well as becoming quick friends with the mentor).

Stage 2: Exercise Demon

Achieve Level 4 Fitness Skill (for 300 SP)

Achieving level 4 fitness skill is just a case of grinding through until you get there, while keeping your state as energized as possible. If you get bored of exercising just at the gym or at home you can always go for a jog or even go to a swimming pool location (if you have one).

You can get a negative buff “sore”for about 4 hours which may make you too uncomfortable to workout. If you have Spa Day then you can take muscle relaxing baths (30s) to remove soreness (and re-energize yourself), otherwise you can either wait or immerse your sim with energized and happy buffs to power through it. You could also nap through the soreness and then wake up feeling energized.

Push the Limits for One Hour While Energized (for 250 SP)

To get the option to push the limits on exercise machines, you have to first work out until you get pumped and complete the exercise routine, then workout again on another machine (or the same one) once you are energized. This may result in a sore buff the next day.

Own 2 Pieces of Workout Equipment (for 300 SP)

You have to return home for this to register. Obviously just buying two bits of equipment may be the easiest way forward, but if money is an issue you could always buy two cheap punching bags, allow the game to acknowledge you’ve bought them, and then resell them. You will lose a few simoleans but it won’t be too bad.

Stage 3: Fit to a T

Achieve Level 6 Fitness skill (for 500 SP)
Go Jogging for 2 Total Hours (for 350 SP)
Spend 10 Hours exercising (for 500 SP)

This again is a fairly easy stage to complete, if with a little time grinding. You may as well start off with the two hours jogging, as they count as two hours of your ten hours exercising To go jogging, click on yourself, and select the option. Keep an eye on your sims whilst they are out jogging (if you have more than one sim in your family) as it’s not always apparent when they have finished. From then onwards, always keeping your mood as energized as possible, keep working out until you have emassed ten hours and reached level six of fitness.

As always working out at the gym, and with mentors, can be of great help. You can even invite one round (if you’re friendly enough with them) to mentor you at home.

Stage 4: Bodybuilder

Reach Level 10 Fitness Skill (for 1250 SP)
Reach Sims’ Maximum Body Potential (for 1500 SP)

This stage is simply a matter of grinding through the exercise regime until you get to level 10 fitness. As always keep your sim energized to increase their fitness learning speed.

To reach your sim’s body maximum potential, make sure that you are mixing up the forms of exercise (i.e. both running machine and weight machine). You should find that you just achieve your body potential somewhere around level 7 or 8 if you have been doing a range of exercises. You are aiming to get maximum muscle and minimum thinness if you were in the CAS window. If you are having difficulty with this part, and have already reached level 10 of the fitness skill, then examine your sim closely. If they are thin but not very muscular do more muscle building activities. If they are quite muscular then do more weight loss activities.

Reward: Long Lived Trait

Once you complete this aspiration, you are rewarded with the long lived trait which means that you live longer at the elder stage of life. It is presumed to be approximately 25% longer, but this has been difficult to prove via play testing. Your sims will certainly a lot longer than sims that have not completed this aspiration. Your sim can still die from fires or from being in a too high emotional state (e.g. death from embarrassment), so this does not make them immortal.
